Cleaning and
Disinfection of
potable water
systems on ships,
supply vessels and
oil rigs
with the korinexan®
system -
The korinexan®
system of cleaning
and disinfection
removes all kinds of
deposits (biofilms,
iron, manganese,
limescale) from
potable water
installations while
achieving a
simultaneous 100%
effective
disinfection against
all waterborne
bacteria. These
cleaning and
disinfecting
products have been
tested and approved
by various
institutes of
hygiene, health and
environmental
authorities.
The special
korinexan®
disinfection and
cleaning method
against evaporation
coming from coatings
of potable water
tanks is effective
against taste and
odour nuisance of
the potable water
on-board. These
evaporations can
also cause a
microbiological
contamination, this
hazard is reliably
eliminated.

Heat Exchanger
Cleaning
There are different
procedures for
pipeline cleaning,
including mechanical
such as
high-pressure
cleaning, scraping
or milling, or using
chemical or
chemical-mechanical
procedures. A
procedure is
described below,
with which such
pipelines can be
quickly and cheaply
cleaned using a
chemical rinsing
fluid in SITU, i.e.
without disassembly
and re-assembly and
costly setup times.

Over time, the performance of filter systems is
progressively reduced. The main causes are
chemical and biological ocherous and sintered
deposits supported by commonly occurring iron
and manganese bacteria. Their partly
acid-resistant waste products not only clog the
filter slots, but eventually, the entire filter
space.

rehabilitation agents dissolve iron, manganese
and naturally all kinds of lime deposits. Even
very old organic and inorganic incrustations

solution is an alkaline cleaning
agent specifically for heat
exchangers and other water systems
made of steel, cast, stainless
steel, PVC, PE, PP and other
alkali-resistant surfaces.
Removes slimy, oily, greasy
impurities and acid-insoluble
deposits. It eliminates
deposits in complicated installation
designs that cannot be reached
mechanically (heat exchanger tubes &
plates).
